Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D animations and micro-interactions using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate static visual concepts into dynamic, code-driven experiences.
- Optimize rendering pipelines and animation loops to guarantee 60fps performance across all devices and network conditions.
- Build and maintain a robust library of reusable animation components and technical assets for the wider engineering team.
- Debug complex visual issues in cross-browser environments and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Stay at the forefront of web motion trends, exploring emerging libraries and techniques like WebGL and Canvas.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development with a specific focus on 2D animation and motion graphics.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and deep knowledge of CSS animations.
- Strong command of animation libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, or Framer Motion.
- Experience with SVG manipulation and the HTML5 Canvas API.
- Excellent understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
