Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-performance 2D web graphics using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and the 2D WebGL context.
- Optimize rendering performance for complex animations to ensure 60fps frame rates on all devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate detailed motion graphics into pixel-perfect, fluid interactive prototypes.
- Write clean, modular, and scalable code using modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue) and vanilla JS.
- Integrate third-party animation libraries (GSAP, Anime.js, Pixi.js) and build custom animation engines.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers on advanced 2D graphics techniques.
- Ensure all 2D assets are responsive and adhere to WCAG accessibility standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development with a specific focus on 2D graphics and animation.
- Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Strong knowledge of the HTML5 Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and requestAnimationFrame.
- Experience with WebGL (Three.js/Pixi.js) for high-performance 2D rendering.
- Deep understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field.
