Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum annealing architectures for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Develop cryogenic control systems supporting 1000+ qubit coherence
- Lead quantum network security protocols for distributed quantum computing
- Create fault-tolerance frameworks achieving 99.999% quantum gate fidelity
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across physics, engineering, and AI domains
- Establish quantum benchmarking standards for industry adoption
- Drive quantum-cloud hybrid infrastructure integration strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum hardware development or cryogenic systems
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation and control
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Proven ability to lead complex R&D projects with multi-million dollar budgets
