Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Collaborate with hardware teams on error correction protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry grants
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Develop commercial applications for quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Published work in top quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
- Track record of securing research funding
