What You'll Achieve:

- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of physicists and engineers
Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms with error correction protocols
- Simulate quantum systems using high-performance computing clusters
- Optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate theoretical models
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through compelling proposals
- Present findings at international conferences (IEEE Quantum Week, APS March Meeting)
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, PyQuil)
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic networks
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
