Job Description
We are on the cusp of a technological singularity. Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary 2026 AGI Research Lead to architect the foundational models that will redefine human-machine collaboration. In this high-stakes role, you will not just write code; you will shape the ethical framework and architectural blueprints for the next generation of autonomous intelligence systems.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between current machine learning paradigms and the speculative yet inevitable future of 2026. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with leading experts in cognitive science, quantum computing, and deep learning. If you are driven by the challenge of creating systems that possess reasoning capabilities beyond standard inference, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the development of recursive self-improving algorithms capable of autonomous task execution.
- Define the ethical safety protocols and alignment strategies for advanced AGI models to prevent unintended consequences.
- Collaborate with quantum computing researchers to optimize neural network training on quantum processors.
- Lead a team of senior engineers and researchers in debugging complex system behaviors and scaling infrastructure.
- Publish peer-reviewed research and white papers on future-proofing AI architectures.
- Establish benchmarks for 'general intelligence' that transcend narrow AI capabilities.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or artificial intelligence research.
- Proven track record of leading R&D teams and delivering breakthrough technologies.
- Expert knowledge of Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and distributed computing systems.
- Deep understanding of Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Knowledge Graphs.
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and interpretability methods.
