Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for near-term hardware architectures
- Lead R&D projects in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation
- Secure external funding through grants and industry partnerships

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science or related fields
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and computational complexity
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts to practical implementations
