Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead experiments on photonic quantum processors
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization
- Publish in Nature Physics and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in NSF grants for quantum AI initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Published research in top-tier quantum journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility (Top Secret preferred)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Track record of translating theory to experimental results
