Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration

- Secure $1M+ in government grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Collaborate with national labs on quantum supremacy projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proficiency in Cirq, Qiskit, or PennyLane frameworks
- Strong track record of securing research funding
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Clearance for DoD/NASA collaborative projects
