Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-accelerated neural networks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
- Mentor PhD candidates and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, Qiskit/Cirq frameworks, and quantum simulation tools
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and Majorana fermion manipulation
