Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance and healthcare
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize quantum solutions by 2026
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (arXiv:quant-ph preferred)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC) and GPU acceleration
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
