Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and coherence times
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype and test quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications for pharmaceutical and materials science
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum simulation frameworks and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistical mechanics, and computational complexity
- Experience with cryogenic systems or superconducting qubit technologies preferred
