Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum systems on classical supercomputers
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from government and industry partners
- Mentor PhD candidates and publish 3+ high-impact papers annually

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction protocols
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Ability to secure research funding through NSF/DARPA proposals
