Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit processors
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-optimized software stacks
- Publish 3-5 high-impact papers in Nature/Science journals annually
- Secure $2M+ in quantum computing research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published record in quantum information science (arXiv:quant-ph)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
