Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps through horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and immersive realities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging technologies with pilot programs
- Deliver executive briefings on technology disruption risks and opportunities
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Quantify ROI projections for next-gen technology investments
- Mentor junior futurists and build a technology foresight framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with proven track record in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry forums
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
