We're seeking a visionary Quantum Computing Research Scientist to develop next-generation algorithms and solve previously unsolvable problems in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization. As a key member of our Quantum Research Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, pioneer error-correction methodologies, and contribute to breakthroughs that will redefine technological landscapes. Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols on 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for machine learning optimization
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction techniques
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with cryogenic systems or photonic quantum hardware preferred
