Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects integrating quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/industry grants
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years postdoctoral research
- Expertise in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and circuit optimization
- Published work in quantum algorithm development or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) and parallel programming
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Google, Rigetti)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
