Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant security frameworks for critical infrastructure
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.999% uptime SLAs
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, cryptographers, and ML engineers
- Develop real-time anomaly detection systems for quantum networks
- Optimize energy-efficient quantum data centers using liquid-cooled qubit arrays
- Establish compliance protocols for ISO 27071 quantum security standards
- Partner with DARPA and NASA on next-gen satellite communication systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing or Cryptography (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing fault-tolerant quantum systems at scale
- Expertise in NISQ-era hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in quantum error correction or post-quantum cryptography
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Certification in ISO 27071 quantum security frameworks
- Experience with AWS Braket and Azure Quantum cloud platforms
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
