Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software-hardware integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications for finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptography frameworks for post-quantum security
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm development and error correction
- Strong publication record in quantum information science
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era hardware constraints and solutions
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
