Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and simulation applications
- Develop error-correction protocols and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate and optimize quantum processor performance
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research grants and patents for quantum computing innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and foster interdisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum computing field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding or patents
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
