Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in logistics and molecular simulation

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum processors into cloud computing platforms
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature Physics/Science journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Mentor PhD interns from Stanford and Berkeley quantum programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of quantum research
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (e.g., PRL, Quantum)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures or ion trap systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
