Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems
- Conduct advanced research on quantum entanglement and superposition phenomena
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics and pattern recognition
- Lead experimental validation of quantum computing concepts using IBM Q and Rigetti systems
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development in quantum technologies
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or a related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or quantum information journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms including superconducting qubits and ion traps
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects from concept to implementation
