Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum system stability and reliability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor interfaces and control systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy experiments and practical quantum applications
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for novel quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development or quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum error correction, quantum cryptography, or quantum machine learning
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research in quantum computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary research teams
