Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for next-gen computational applications
- Lead cross-disciplinary research teams in quantum error correction and coherence optimization
- Develop novel quantum architectures targeting 2026 commercial deployment milestones
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals and industry white papers
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to implement quantum-secure communication protocols
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish lab's quantum computing curriculum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (minimum 5 peer-reviewed papers)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq) and low-level quantum hardware control
- Demonstrated success securing $500K+ in research funding
