Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors with 100+ qubit scalability
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic frameworks for 2026 security standards
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical algorithm development for optimization problems
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in quantum physics and software engineering
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum error correction protocols
- Develop quantum simulation tools for molecular modeling and drug discovery
- Drive quantum cloud infrastructure integration with AWS/Azure platforms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system engineering
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
