Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms optimizing for 100+ qubit systems
- Lead quantum software development teams using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Drive research in quantum error correction and topological qubit stabilization
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite and strategic partners
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum algorithms and system architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum software systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Q#, Cirq)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences/journals
- Experience leading technical teams and managing R&D roadmaps
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum hardware projections
