Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for complex computational challenges in AI optimization and molecular modeling
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems integrating with classical HPC infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum solution development
- Research and implement error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics applications
- Collaborate with product teams to commercialize quantum computing solutions for enterprise clients
- Author technical whitepapers and patents for novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, Qiskit, and quantum algorithm development
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, etc.)
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific languages
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business applications
