Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for cryptographic applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC systems
- Create quantum-resistant security frameworks for financial services
- Collaborate with AI teams to optimize quantum machine learning algorithms
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubits
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
