Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with fault-tolerant designs
- Lead development of quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on qubit integration and coherence optimization
- Design quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Present quantum roadmap to C-suite and industry partners
- Mentor junior quantum researchers and interns
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into working prototypes
