Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with $10M+ annual innovation budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 100 pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies 3-5 years ahead of market adoption
- Present tech vision to C-suite and board members with data-backed investment recommendations
- Manage patent portfolio and intellectual property strategy for emerging tech domains
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology with peer-reviewed publications
- Strategic certification from MIT Technology Review, Singularity University, or equivalent
- Experience with scenario planning and technology roadmapping for Fortune 500 companies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies preferred
- Prior experience managing >$5M innovation budgets with measurable ROI
- Published thought leadership in Nature, IEEE, or top-tier tech journals
