Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for complex computational problems in cryptography and materials science
- Lead the development of error-corrected quantum processors with 99.9% fidelity
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning frameworks
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation blockchain networks
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in Nature Physics
- Secure $10M+ in quantum computing grants from NSF and DARPA
- Present quarterly breakthroughs to the C-suite and board of directors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Physical Review X)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proven track record of building fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Experience leading R&D teams of 10+ scientists and engineers
- Patents in quantum computing or quantum information theory preferred
