Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptography implementations for critical infrastructure
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications
- Translate quantum algorithms into deployable cloud solutions
- Establish quantum security standards for financial and healthcare systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in distributed computing and cloud architecture
- Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Security clearance for government quantum projects preferred
