Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems with 99.999% fidelity for commercial deployment by 2026
- Design hybrid quantum-classical interfaces for AI acceleration and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and ML specialists
- Develop quantum-resistant security protocols for blockchain and financial systems
- Research topological qubit implementations at cryogenic temperatures
- File patents for novel quantum error-correction methodologies
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum hardware or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonics
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation tools
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or top-tier conferences
- Experience with cryogenic systems and dilution refrigerators
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum error mitigation
- Clearance for DoD quantum technology projects preferred
