Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Integrate quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Create quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum security implementations for post-quantum cryptography
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control hardware
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
