Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, superconducting, topological)
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant system designs
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to create hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Create technical documentation and architecture blueprints for stakeholder review
- Mentor junior engineers and stay current with quantum hardware advancements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor teams
