Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed research publications for Nature/Science journals
- Optimize quantum circuits for error correction and scalability
- Develop patentable quantum AI methodologies with commercial applications
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum algorithm development
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface codes, LDPC)
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
