Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead cross-functional research teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Develop predictive models for 2026 technological adoption patterns and market disruption
- Author groundbreaking publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security frameworks for critical infrastructure
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent research experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Proven publication record in quantum machine learning or related fields
- Expertise in NISQ-era hardware limitations and error mitigation strategies
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and validation protocols
- Experience securing DARPA/IARPA or NSF grants for quantum research
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation practices
