Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for AI optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Lead research projects in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum processors for AI workloads
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for quantum machine learning applications
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles and applications

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in machine learning architectures and quantum machine learning theory
- Publication record in quantum computing or AI research (arXiv, Nature, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Strong background in quantum information theory and quantum error correction
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to tackle unsolved research questions
