Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Develop novel optimization techniques for quantum processors operating at scale
- Author high-impact publications and patents in top-tier scientific journals
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Collaborate with product teams to translate theoretical breakthroughs into commercial solutions
- Secure and manage research grants from government and private sector partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or related fields
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong track record of translating complex research into practical applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
