Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for real-world applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum circuits using superconducting and photonic platforms
- Create hybrid quantum-classical optimization frameworks for logistics and drug discovery
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop novel neural network architectures leveraging quantum properties
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum computing frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
- Secure patents for quantum algorithm innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Experience with quantum hardware simulators (Qiskit Aer, PennyLane)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Expertise in Python/C++ and high-performance computing frameworks
