What You Will Do
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee the high-level architecture for Project 2026, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate cutting-edge AI models.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to the new 2026 infrastructure, minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
- Establish coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices for the engineering team.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and technical architecture assessments to drive quality assurance.
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies for complex system integrations.
- Mentor senior engineers and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software architecture and systems design.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) or advanced AI/ML architectures is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous technical challenges.
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is a plus.
