Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against shipping manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare, pack, and label orders for timely and accurate distribution.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain organized inventory storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures throughout the night shift.
- Collaborate with day shift staff to ensure seamless handovers and operational continuity.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; relevant experience is a plus but not mandatory for training.
- Ability to work a flexible night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is a significant advantage.
