Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate patient documentation
- Sterilize equipment and maintain exam rooms per OSHA standards
- Perform basic lab tests and phlebotomy procedures
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up communications
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA preferred)
- Minimum 6 months clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Milwaukee residency preferred
