Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Lead Quantum Architect to spearhead our next-generation computing initiatives. As we approach the pivotal year of 2026, Chronos Dynamics is building the infrastructure for the post-silicon era. You will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical engineering, designing fault-tolerant quantum systems that will revolutionize industries ranging from cryptography to pharmaceuticals.
In this high-impact role, you will define the architectural standards for our quantum computing platforms, ensuring scalability, stability, and performance in a complex, noisy environment.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable quantum circuits and error-correcting codes for commercial applications.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of physicists, software engineers, and hardware specialists.
- Optimize quantum algorithms to mitigate noise and decoherence in near-term devices.
- Define the technical roadmap and research directions for our quantum hardware integration.
- Collaborate with data scientists and security experts to solve complex optimization problems.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers in quantum software development.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum mechanics, or superconducting hardware development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and quantum SDKs like Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex number systems.
- Proven track record of leading high-impact technical projects from conception to deployment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
