Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and mobility assistance
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, feeding)
- Document patient observations accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to maintain care plans
- Maintain sterile environments during procedures
- Transport patients safely within facility
- Respond promptly to patient call systems
Qualifications
- Active CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent healthcare experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 72 hours)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Clear background check and drug screen
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English
