Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech paradigms (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, decentralized systems) to identify commercialization pathways
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients in healthcare, logistics, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops synthesizing futurism methodologies with agile execution frameworks
- Author white papers and thought leadership content published in IEEE and MIT Technology Review
- Mentor junior strategists in trend synthesis and scenario planning methodologies
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Present strategic briefings to executive boards and investor committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic consulting or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSD) or scenario planning methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and strategic implementation success
- Exceptional storytelling abilities translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Experience with futures mapping tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
