Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical AI adoption and responsible innovation
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and drive consensus on strategic bets
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate innovation
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing product development cycles
- Publish thought leadership on technological disruption and its societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, or neurotech
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Futurology)
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of strategic foresight on business outcomes
