Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Produce scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product development and market expansion
- Lead executive workshops on future implications of AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Establish KPIs to track predictive accuracy of trend forecasts and strategic pivots
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future business paradigms
- Manage a global network of futurists and academic researchers to validate foresight methodologies
- Integrate foresight outputs into corporate strategy, R&D pipelines, and investment decisions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategy consulting, corporate foresight, or futurist research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategic frameworks
- Expertise in exponential technologies: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published author or speaker at global forums on future trends and strategic foresight
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, horizon scanning, and scenario planning
- Exceptional ability to translate complex future concepts into executable business strategies
