Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 market disruptions across tech, policy, and consumer behavior
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and climate resilience initiatives
- Present foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Author annual 'Future State' whitepapers positioning industry leadership
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and global policy institutes
- Mentor futurist talent through internal innovation incubator programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic consulting, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year horizon planning implementations
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or equivalent tier
- Experience advising Fortune 500 C-suite on transformational strategy
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (STEEP, Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
