What you'll achieve: Lead horizon-scanning initiatives that identify disruptive technologies, design strategic roadmaps for enterprise adaptation, and publish seminal research on the future of human-machine collaboration. You'll partner with C-suite executives to embed future-ready thinking into organizational DNA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and socio-technical systems
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for clients navigating industry disruption
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content
- Design and manage cross-functional innovation sprints
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation consulting or corporate foresight
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (generative AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities
- Experience publishing research in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Deep understanding of socio-technical systems and human-centered design
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future strategy implementations
